Whats a good way of making scale practice less tedious?

I really need to improve my technique so I'm working realy hard on my piano scales. The first few practices were fine because i could really see myself improving but its just so boring now. Any ideas on how to make it more.... fun?Whats a good way of making scale practice less tedious?
One girl I knew used the scales as a stress reliever. I never liked the scales. In fact, I hated the scales and my fingering suffered for it.

They're just one of the things you'll have to learn if you want to play well.Whats a good way of making scale practice less tedious?
We use to make up our own words to the scales or practice or home work like for a test, also try visulization of a place you like, wals going to the amusement park, etc. and run it threw your head as you do the scales. HTH! GL!
Have you ever seen Raise Your Voice? Well I suggest you watch at least this certain scene where Hilary Duff sings a scale. I it is a really fun way to sing scales!

Good luck!
dont bother
I have the same problem. I despise technique but really enjoy playing piano. What I do is find songs I like in whatever key it is I'm practicing, and practice them as well as all the boring stuff. I dunno. Works for me.
