What is the best way of making money on runescape that does not involve doing a quest?

I'm looking for a great way of making money that does not involve doing any quests or anything like that.

Alright heres what you do, you want to invest in small items that are steady. My favorite to use are fire runes. Now for this method i strongly suggest you hit the grand exchange with at least 200k to get a noticeable profit. So heres what you do, you go to the grand exchange and buy as many fire runes as you can for 9gp, make sure you pay 9gp! So if you go in with 200k your buying about 22,000 runes. Now when your order comes in your gonna sell them, but sell for max 10gp each. It doesnt sound like much right only 1gp more. But you bought 22,000 runes so when they sell for 1 higher you just made a 22k profit. And as you make more money and can buy more, you make more profit.





Note: dont expect your order to come in (or sell) in a matter of minutes, its going to take hours most likely. I usually buy at night, sleep on it, wake up next mouring and sell what i bought. Repeat process.
first get around 6k or more (the more you bring the more you make) then go to catherby (you have to be a member!) and go to the end of the dock there and only bring your money then trade with the people on the dock and buy full inventory of banana's and then bank. do this until you run out of money (it will take a little bit) then take all of the banana's to the grand exchangeand sell (at the dock you pay 2gp each and at the grand exchange they sell for around 55gp but last i checked they were at 77gp) this is not ia joke i do this all the time to make extra $$$$$$$
definitely fishing you can get a levels up for fishing- you don't have to wear any armorer so you don't have to worry about dieing from RANDOMS and losing items. you can fish right by the bank so you wont have to walk far. and then you can sell it for MAJOR $$. and you dont have to watch the screen often(you can turn and watch T.V. or something) because you dont have to keep clicking buttons to fish.
okay, i have 83 woodcutting. i get an inventory of yew logs in about 10-15 minutes maybe less. Yews are 400 gp (about) a piece so that's 67k an hour just about. so you should get your woodcutting level to 75 or 80 before cutting yews, so cut maples or willows to get to that level.
Picking flax. That is if you're a member. If not then most likely merchanting as said above or killing cows for their cow hides. I have heard that lesser demons, fishing, and woodcutting are all very profitable. Hope you enjoy becoming rich. :D
