My girlfriend is a little chubby, and I want to get her to lose weight but i don't want her to think I'm trying to get her to lose weight. Hopefully I will be able to make her loose weight fast. Most restaurants wont let you do that since you have to be a child to eat off the children's menu.... So that's kinda a dumb question. Being a university student I can understand the predicament of not having a lot of money but there is ways around it. Make a fancy diner at home that you make for her. She will totally appreciate it more then going out to eat all the time. Or pick a nice day and have a picnic if you don't want to do it at your house. Another good idea is to make a diner and then surprise her by bringing it to her house. Then you have a nice diner and a nice sup rise for her. She will love it.

Why is my fuel pump making weird whinning noise in the gas tank?
I have a 98 chevy astro van that has started making this weird noise. I can really here it when I am at idle speed and when I turn of the engine it keeps making for about 5 seconds then it stops on its own. Why is my fuel pump making weird whinning noise in the gas tank?

I bought my silverado 4 years ago and my pump has been whining since I got it. It gets louder when I let it get low on fuel. I have worked on cars for more than 15 years almost all GM's do it. It may or may not be on it's way out. The whine is not a sure fire way to tell. If you are unsure get it checked the part is about $80 aftermarket but much more for labor to install it. Piece of mind goes a long way. Good luck.
its going out if it makes a squealing noise that you can hear,sometimes they will also make a whistling noise,either way if you can hear it that bad its going out and will have to be replaced,the only thing you should hear is a slight humming sound from it,good luck.
it might be the bearing in the pump. try this! lucas has a treatment out that lubes the pump, maybe it,s dry.
in tank pumps start to make this noise with time, its relatively normal, will need to be replaced at some point, its hard to say when

i wouldn't be surprised if the pump stopped working soon.

The only thing the government can do is lower the federal or state taxes on gas, which won't help much. Who is pushing the prices of gas up? We are (your neighbors, friends, and everyone who trades gasoline.) Gas and crude oil is traded openly on the NYMEX futures market. When more people want to buy it than sell it the price goes up. It's really that simple. There is no magic person, government, or country pushing the prices up. The prices are going up because most of the traders are buying gas right now because most people think the price will go up. If you want to offset the price of gas, buy gasoline futures. For several thousand dollars you too can buy a contract. When the price goes up, you make money. It's not rocket science. In fact you can make about $1000 for every dollar that the price of crude oil goes up. So if the price goes from $125 to $126 per barrel, you make $1000.
